- Until the end of the holiday period on January 6, 2026, our restaurant will also be open on Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- As part of Hohe Tauern National Park, we place great importance on protecting our environment and treating it with respect. For this reason, we celebrate a quiet New Year’s Eve, deliberately without fireworks – in harmony with the tranquility of nature in the mountains of East Tyrol.
On New Year’s Eve, each guest will receive a glass of sparkling wine or a non-alcoholic alternative (orange juice), which can be collected at the bar shortly before midnight.
Guests who would like to pre-order an additional bottle of sparkling wine for the evening may have it charged to their room on the morning of December 31. The bottle can then be collected at the bar on New Year’s Eve and enjoyed at leisure.

We kindly ask guests to dress appropriately in the restaurant – ski underwear or similar attire is not permitted.

Want a meal to go? One sandwich €3.00 – hiking tea at the breakfast buffet is free – please order in advance from the service staff.
- À la Carte Restaurant: Open Tuesday – Sunday, 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday: Closed – our à la carte restaurant is not open.
- Half Board: We kindly ask you to dine between 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., menu selection at check-in or breakfast. Please inform us in advance of any food intolerances.
- Bar: Service until 10:00 p.m. – feel free to stay in our lounge afterwards.

Rooms & Housekeeping
Cleaning: For environmental reasons, we do not provide daily room cleaning. If you would like your room cleaned, please hang the “Please Clean” sign on the outside of your door.
Room Key: Please leave your key at the reception when leaving the building. Returning after 10:00 p.m.? Take your key with you to use the night entrance. At the ski cellar, there is a key box where you can leave your room and ski locker keys; upon your return, the keys can be collected again at the reception.
Please understand that external visitors are not allowed in the guest rooms, sauna area, or the common areas of the floors.
Ski, Shoe & Drying Room for Your Outdoor Equipment
To protect the room furnishings, we ask that all outdoor equipment – such as poles, hiking boots, rainwear, and similar items – not be taken into the room (especially not on the heater).
Instead, please use our ski, shoe, and drying room with lockable lockers. You will receive your locker key at check-in together with your room key – the locker number matches your room number. This ensures your equipment is safely stored, dry, and ready for use the next day. When leaving the ski cellar, you can deposit the keys in the key box; upon return, they are available again at the reception.
Please return the locker key along with your room key at check-out.
⚠️ Important: Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning or maintenance charges for any damage or soiling of the room.
Parking
Please park your car in the large parking area in front of the main building or in our designated guest parking spaces. Keep your parking token safe – if lost, select “Lost Token” at the machine (€40.00). Parking is, of course, free for our hotel guests during their stay. When leaving, simply have the token validated by staff – you will then have 20 minutes to exit.

Cancellation & Policies
Even when you’re looking forward to your holiday, unexpected events can happen.
Here is an overview of our cancellation policy:
- Up to 14 days before arrival: free cancellation
- Up to 7 days before arrival: 50% of the booking price
- Up to 3 days before arrival: 70% of the booking price
- Later cancellations or early departures: 90% of the booking price
We also recommend taking out the Hotel Storno Plus insurance from the European Travel Insurance for extra peace of mind.

Extended Parking
If you wish to leave your car a little longer after check-out, please have your parking token validated by the staff – you will then have 20 minutes to exit. Simply drive out once and back in. After your adventure, you can easily insert a new token at the parking meter.
